The objective of this training of trainers (TOT) material is to enable existing and potential managers of agricultural cooperatives to identify and address major challenges that are specific to cooperatives in market oriented agricultural development. Who should apply: (a) leaders and managers of cooperative structures, such as unions, federations and confederations; (b) trainers working in cooperative colleges, universities, NGOs and other (including private) training providers; (c) cooperative officers and extension staff of government departments and agencies. Private Sector Development in Fragile and Conflict-Affected States
Private sector development is a vital tool in fragile and conflict-affected environments to promote economic development and peace. This 3-day course is jointly organised by the ITC-ILO and GIZ under the auspices of the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development. International Training of Trainers Forum
The ITC-ILO has delivered Training of Trainers services since its creation in 1965. Since 2000 the organization has a specialized unit dealing with learning methodology and technology (DELTA), which has developed a comprehensive set of practices, tools and learning modules related to the training of trainers. This international training of trainers forum comprises: 1) three days generic training of trainers and 2) seven days specialist training of trainers concerning five ILO training packages on aspects of entrepreneur and enterprise development: KAB - Know About Business, My.Coop - Managing your Agricultural Cooperative, Value Chain Development for Decent Work, GSVCD - Gender Sensitive Value Chain Development and Women's Entrepreneurship Development - Capacity Development Programme.
